Rose Cottage Community Centre and Cafe is unlike other community centres. It is a small, intimate venue with a lounge, cafe room, learning room, large kitchen, conservatory and private garden. The living room is ideal for small groups (up to 12 people) or simply a place to relax. It is equipped with a hi-fi, television and DVD player and a small library. The learning room is equipped with a whiteboard and four state-of-the-art Apple computers with flat screens and broadband Internet access. We also have scanning and laser printing facilities as well as music and digital photography equipment. As well as using it for our own courses, this room accommodates up to 12 people (4 people at computers plus 8 people seated). The cafe room is ideal for slightly larger groups (up to 20 people) and is a warm environment for your group. This room is used on Wednesdays and Thursdays for our community cafe. Rose Cottage is a friendly place; a place to unwind; a place to have a chat; a place to make friends; a place to find support and encouragement; and a place to learn. An Accessible VenueWe are working hard to make Rose Cottage an accessable venue for wheelchair users and for the elderly. - Level wheelchair access through rear garden entrance.
