The Carrs Woodland Forum was set up in 2005 and is a community group open to anyone who is interested in Carrs Woodland. The group meets every 6 weeks at the Royal Oak pub on Lower Bristol Road or on site, depending on the time of year.
The Forum has been involved with practical tasks on site such as tree planting, scrub clearance and litter picks. It was also involved in the design of the two interpretation boards on site created as part of the Brunel 200 celebrations. In 2007 the Forum applied for a grant from the Quartet Foundation and secured £1000 to improve access to the site.
Meetings are friendly and reasonably informal and new members are always welcome.
