The PlanSomer Community Housing Trusy have submitted an application to "erect 30 dwellings with new access road and associated landscaping on land adjacent to The Hollow."
Local residents have formed an action group to fight the proposals to build 24 houses and 6 flats on this important Hillside. You can view the planning application here. The Petition The petition is as follows: We the Undersigned do not want to see any more building on the important hillside at The Hollow in Bath. The land above Cotswold View and adjacent to Bath City Farm should be protected and preserved for future generations. The hillside is visible from all over the Bath area; any further building on this site would be a blot on the landscape. We call on Bath & North East Somerset Council to reject any planning applications to build on the land above Cotswold View and adjacent to Bath City Farm and to take steps to ensure that the land is protected for the pleasure and enjoyment of all Bath residents, now and in the future.
