The Community Learning Service is running FREE Workshops in 3 different locations: Bath, Keynsham and Midsomer Norton.

The Community Learning Service organise activities for adults:
  • over 19 years of age
  • who have few or no qualifications and/or
  • who have experienced time away from work or learning due to ill health, looking after the family etc

Workshop 1

  • Identifying your career aspirations and planning how to reach them

Workshop 2

  • Writing & Improving your Covering Letters
  • Help to complete Job Applications
  • Improving your Job Searching Skills

Workshop 3

  • Improving your interview skills
  • Advice on “What not to wear” at interviews
  • 1:1 interviews with an Information & Advice Worker 

Where?

Bath – Learndirect, Parkside (Charlotte Street Car Park)

  • Workshop 1: Mon 19th May from 9.30 - 11.30pm
  • Workshop 2: Tues 20th May from 1.30 - 4.30pm
  • Workshop 3: Thur 22nd May from 9.30 - 12.30pm

To gain the most from the workshops please try to attend all 3 workshops.
It is possible to attend workshop sessions in other areas if there are spaces available – please ring to discuss.

CHILDCARE: There is no crèche provided for these workshops but if you need childcare we are able to reimburse you for ‘registered’ child-minder costs or your local nursery fees dependant on costs, please call to discuss.
