The Bath Round Table have donated £1000 towards the re-development of thre garden at Rose Cottage Community Centre and Cafe. Gavin and Lucy Tyte, church community workers say that the money will be spent on removing the existing pre-faricated garage and the building of a new shed. This will open up the space to create a patio and larger garden area for centre users.
"We want to make the garden a communal space for the centre - a place where mums can sit and have a coffee and where children can play safely."
Rose Cottage is a St. Michael's Church-based project that seeks to bless the community offering a 'home away from home'. Rose Cottage also runs a community cafe on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 2pm.
