Every Tuesday at 5.30pm, over 50 children in school years 2 -6 descend on St. Michael's parish church for their weekly Kidz Club.
The club begins with meeing at year group stations for a game or craft activity and then they all gather for the main part of the evening. This is split up into different sections and involves talks, games, singing and prayer. The children - mostly from St. Michael's Junior School - love it and it gives them a sense of belonging and some spiritual input to complement their school education. Each term there is a different theme. Recent themes inlude Dr. Who, High School Musical and Ratatoui. At the end of each term there is an X-factor style talent night.
Kidz Club is organised by Rob and Sarah Bubyer and run with a team of volunteers from across the churches in the local area. All the team are CRB checked give their time for free.
If you or your child would like to be involved in Kidz Club then simply turn up at 5.30pm on a Tuesday in term time. There is no fee and no waiting list!
